What's on, who's around, and what's coming up.
One of the core reasons that idd exists in the first place is that we wanted to build a community that wasn't beholden to the whims of a single platform. We miss the feeling of community on the internet that came before social media took over, and we wanted to create a space that captured that spirit — where conversations can have permanence, where creative expression is valued, and where you're not at the mercy of an algorithm deciding who sees what.
We really believe that humans are a collaborative, creative species that thrive in communities and therefore collaboration and creativity are central to our mission.
While our community is mostly based on Discord and our forum right now that doesn't mean that will necessarily always be the case. If the community needs us to host a Discord alternative, a new game server, a better VOIP solution or anything else, then we'll do that down the line. This is what makes up "platform agnostic".
